"Finding Amy to be the occupational therapist for our 7 year old son was like striking gold. Our son was referred for OT by his school for fine and gross motor issues -- and we then went through two other centers and practitioners, each of whom was nice and professional, but neither of whom made much progress nor inspired much enthusiasm in our kid. We were also never quite sure what the benchmarks were for OT success in the first place. Then we met Amy and it was like a light switched on in our son -- her weekly home visits became his favorite times in the week. (He would literally run out to the lawn to greet her.) Together, they devised collaborative plans to work on everything from handwriting to balance and over ten months of weekly sessions he made enormous improvements in every single area for which he started OT in the first place. He also developed confidence and had a ton of fun. Amy had clear, measurable goals for him and involved us as parents in every single session so we always got to see what they had worked on and could both reinforce it and praise him. She even did a classroom visit, which provided us with all sorts of useful insights about helpful modifications in the classroom, and then she advocated on our behalf to his teachers. The uptake: we moved away from Boston at the end of summer 2022 and our son is in a new school with new teachers, none of whom has any concerns whatsoever about his handwriting or motor skills. We credit Amy (and our kiddo) entirely with that change. She is supremely good at her job and a warm, wonderful person for any child and family to get to know."

“Amy worked with my daughter on sensory disorder regulation and with providing her with concrete strategies for this. My daughter loved her sessions with Amy and we thought they really helped. Amy is highly enthusiastic and her approach is play-based and this is why she is so good at relating to kids. I would highly recommend Amy for anybody who needs occupational therapy services.”

“My son looked forward to Amy arriving each week. He was in Kindergarten when the pandemic started and his handwriting suffered significantly. Amy found creative ways to get him writing and working on his fine motor skills. I would recommend Amy without hesitation.”

“We love Amy very much. Each session Amy brings different toys for improving my son’s fine motor skills, and training his patience. Amy also teaches parents how to help kids to generalize all the skills.”

“Amy supported both of my boys (1st and 2nd graders) last school year and was able to help my younger son, who was struggling significantly struggling, get up to speed with his writing. She made the sessions engaging and fun for the boys and they looked forward to seeing her each week. I highly recommend Amy!”
